Mayson dreadnought model in solid Engelmann spruce with mahogany sides and back. A lively and loud sounding guitar with the typical quick Mayson response. In comparison to the Marquis shaped M1/SCE, the D model has a bolder tone, more traditional but still with a clear and lively tone. As any good quality solid spruce top, this already has a rounder sound than cedar, especially in the higher positions, it will mature over time and will warm up more and gain in dynamic range.
