The M5/S has an Engelmann spruce solid top and rosewood sides and back. Spruce is lightweight, strong and flexible wood which contributes to a high resonance. The Rosewood (rosewood) side and back contribute to the fast action, a good definition in the bass, a powerful mid and clear high.
This cutaway version is fitted with an active LR Baggs Anthem double source pickup system with an undersaddle piezo pickup and a top-mounted microphone. The summit in amplified sounds!
